VH1. Lil Wayne. Banana Pancakes. Chicken Burgers.

It just hit me when we arrived in Goa, the transformation we had undergone from two and a half months of traveling constantly off the beaten path. We had arrived in Goa late at night, and were wide eyed by the western tourists partying late into the night!

The glares we radiated to them were the same that we received just a few months ago when we started our trip in Delhi.

We couldn’t leave this state without fully immersing into it, so with neon singlets, colourful hawaiian shorts, skin tight european trunks and surf boards, the guys hit the beach looking for some tubular waves.

We didn’t let the flat swell get our spirits down and instead opted to pump it up with some locals on a radical boat. Imagine an epic Indian rendition of the early 90’s show California Dreamin’ mixed with some righteous fist pumping and gnarly head bobbing. Even our local fisherman friends¬† got into the spirit and pumped harder!

Cowabunga friends!
